Best Weight Loss Injections Without a Membership Fee
Some Canadian GLP-1 providers layer a recurring platform or membership fee on top of medication cost. Here are the ones that do not, and what their pricing actually includes instead.
What "no membership fee" means
A membership or program fee is a recurring charge for access to the platform itself, separate from what you pay for medication and clinical care. It shows up in different forms across Canadian GLP-1 telehealth: a flat monthly platform charge, a subscription tier, or a program fee bundled into pricing that is not disclosed until after intake. Our own comparison of Direct Meds against Hims Canada found Hims described as using a program-based subscription, distinct from Direct Meds' no-membership pharmacy model.
The three providers below do not charge that kind of separate, standing fee. That does not mean they are free or that their total cost is always the lowest - it means the monthly number they quote is built from medication and included clinical support, not medication plus an extra membership line.
Providers without a membership fee

BirchRx states its pricing is a single bundled monthly figure covering the online physician assessment, licensed clinician review, prescription, generic semaglutide and shipping - with a free assessment, no separate consultation fee, and no separate monthly membership or platform fee. The published rate is $149 for the first (starting-dose) month, then a care plan from $199/month ongoing, with any dose-driven price change confirmed with the patient first. BirchRx currently serves Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta only, and prescribes generic semaglutide exclusively.

Province coverage
Felix Health serves nine provinces - Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Saskatchewan. BirchRx serves only Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta. Confirm your province's eligibility directly with Direct Meds. None of the three currently serves Quebec or the territories.
What to watch for instead
The absence of a membership fee does not automatically make a provider the cheapest option - it just means the fee structure is simpler to reason about. Before enrolling with any GLP-1 provider, confirm: whether the quoted price is per medication or per visit, whether it changes if your dose is titrated upward, whether shipping is included, and whether the price shown before intake is the price you will actually be charged. BirchRx and Felix Health both publish their starting price upfront; some providers only disclose pricing after you complete an assessment, which is worth knowing before you start the process.
